Working in the Service industry
has always been an incredibly
demanding profession. As the
world changes in the aftermath
of September 11, there is
none so more changed as the
role of Flight Attendants.
In addition to the provision
of service for each one of
your customers, there are
now many additional safety
requirements and regulations
that have come into play and
which you as a Flight Attendant
must have extensive knowledge
of.
In your resume you must demonstrate
the experience you have gained
throughout your career and
the daily duties and activities
that dictate how you perform
within your chosen profession.
Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills are a
key aspect of your role and
your ability to develop rapport
with each customer assuring
them of personal attention
is an important part of your
role. This must be reflected
in your resume as you create
a profile of your characteristics
and expertise that sets you
apart from the competition.
Examples are as follows:
Completed extensive safety
inspections prior to take
off and landing in keeping
with company practices and
FAA regulations. Implemented
safety procedures and the
verification of safety measures
in conjunction with cabin
and crew members, performing
security sweeps intermittently
throughout the flight. Coordinated
the service arrangements including
food and beverage and tax-free
shopping on board.
