A common mistake made when
putting together an Actor’s
resume is to embellish information
and fudge a little of the
information introduced into
the resume. In an increasingly
that is notoriously a closed
shop, it is easy to see where
the temptation comes from
to help oneself portray past
accomplishments and achievements
as more than they were.
However, this can be kiss
of death for a resume if the
‘fudge’ is discovered.
In truth it is better to produce
a resume that accurately represents
your experience and your achievements.
This document should ideally
be a one-page document that
lists your Theatrical, Stage,
Film, TV, and Commercial experience.
A good idea is to sub-divide
your resume so that each area
of your career is clearly
represented.
Awards and Honours are critical
information and should be
acknowledged as such. Training
and education both formal
and informal should be detailed
along with membership of professional
affiliations.
Allow us to work with you
in the production of a document
designed to get you the role
you have always dreamed about.
